The Compassion Pills
The goth blues band The Compassion Pills, from Whitehorse, Yukon are fronted by the father daughter duo Sam and Claire Gallagher. Clair developed a love of storytelling and songwriting, as well as a fondness for dark subject matter and minor keys. The duo teamed up with a rotating cast of super talented Whitehorse musicians to bring their songs to life. At the Village Bakery, Claire on Vocals and keyboard and Sam on Lap steel guitar were joined by Rob Jones (drums), Hannah Mazurek (bass), and Kris Moore (guitar).
